To be a LAPD Devonshire PALS volunteer…

There are some things you need to know:

You must fill out an application, be fingerprinted and go through a background check
You must be interviewed
You must attend a volunteer orientation
You must love working with kids and other volunteers

Here are some ways you can get involved:

Program Volunteers: Be a mentor and positive role model to the youth in our various programs. Help facilitate activities, provide guidance, and inspire young minds. Share your expertise in academics, sports, arts, or life skills to empower our participants.
Event Volunteers: Assist us during special events and activities, such as our annual sports tournaments, community fairs, and fundraising galas. Help with event setup, registration, crowd management, and other essential tasks that contribute to the success of these events.
Fundraising Volunteers: Support our fundraising efforts by assisting with planning, organizing, and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives. Help us raise the necessary funds to sustain and enhance our programs, ensuring that we can continue to make a difference in the lives of our youth.
